Why the South Coast
Tenerife's 3,700-metre volcanic peak blocks the north-east trade winds, and the coastline from Los Cristianos through Costa Adeje sits in its lee. The result is a sheltered corridor that stays fishable on most days of the year while the north of the island is rough. Add the shelf dropping past 2,000 metres within a few miles of the harbour mouth, and deep-water fishing starts twenty minutes after the lines come off the cleats.

How far is Puerto Colón from my hotel?
From Costa Adeje it is typically a short walk or a few minutes by taxi; from Los Cristianos or Las Galletas, a short drive. Build in a margin — the coast road is busier at peak times.
Can I fish from the shore instead?
Shore and rock fishing exist along this coast, but that is a different activity from a guided boat trip and not something we operate. The fishing rules and licence guide explains where the requirements differ.
Is there parking at the marina?
There is parking in and around Puerto Colón, but availability and cost vary by season and time of day — check current options locally rather than assuming, and arrive with time in hand.
