A yacht charter is a different proposition from a fishing trip, even when it leaves from the same pontoon. The boat is yours, the day is shaped around your group rather than a schedule, and the measure of success is the quality of the hours rather than the weight of the catch.
What We Offer
- [Luxury yacht charter](/yacht-charter/luxury/) — the flagship experience aboard Tanoa: space, shade, silence, and a crew that stays out of the way until you want them. Half day or full day.
- [Birthdays and celebrations](/yacht-charter/birthday/) — from an intimate toast for six to a large party afloat. We handle the boat and the timing; you decide how loud the day gets.
- [Charter prices](/yacht-charter/prices/) — rates by vessel and duration, stated plainly. No "enquire for pricing" games.
How a Charter Day Works
Boarding is at Puerto Colón. From there the route is a conversation rather than a fixed itinerary: the sheltered water along the Costa Adeje coast for swimming and lunch, the cliffs at Los Gigantes for the view, or straight offshore if someone in the group wants lines in the water. Sea conditions and the captain's judgement set the outer limits; inside those, the day is yours.
Charters are crewed. Fishing tackle is aboard on request, and a charter can be part fishing, part cruising without a change of boat — a common arrangement for mixed groups where not everyone wants to fish for six hours.
Which Boat
Tanoa is the yacht for charters where comfort is the point — flybridge, shade, room to spread out. For groups whose day is mostly fishing, the sportfishers in our fleet are the better platform and usually the better value. If you are weighing a yacht against a catamaran, we compare them here; if you are weighing exclusivity against cost, read private vs group.

FAQ
How much does a yacht charter in Tenerife cost?
Rates depend on vessel and duration — full current pricing is on the charter prices page. Everything quoted is the price of the boat with crew and fuel; we do not add the extras back afterwards.
How many guests can come aboard?
It depends on the vessel and the licence it carries, from small groups up to large celebrations. Tell us the headcount when you enquire and we will name the boats that legally and comfortably fit it.
Can we fish during a yacht charter?
Yes. Tackle can be aboard and the crew will set it up. Serious big game, though, wants a sportfisher and a full day — see big game fishing.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The captain decides on the day, and safety is not negotiable. If conditions cancel a charter we reschedule it; we do not send a group out into a sea that will ruin the experience.
