Before boarding: You arrive at the marina. The vessel is already prepared — cleaned, stocked, and inspected. The captain greets you, discusses the conditions, and asks how you'd like the day to unfold. Route preferences, timing for swimming or lunch, any special requests — this conversation sets the tone.

What happens if the weather is bad?
